OPEN-AIR READING AND ARTIST TALK WITH FRANZISKA RICHTER, SALOME DASTMALCHI AND ANDREAS ROST Photographer Andreas Rost has been cycling through Berlin since November 2020, taking a picture every day with his analogue large-format camera. He surveys and reflects in haunting images of emptiness, the different phases of corona, the absence of people, everyday life in a state of emergency. The anthology "Echoräume des Schocks" edited by Franziska Richter (Dietz Verlag) describes the effects of the Corona pandemic on culture in 25 contributions. The authors report on events of this time in politics and society, tell of fears and hopes. They reflect on the enormous "sound waves" caused by the Corona virus and measure the shock, which was particularly great in the cultural sector and still continues.
